We took advantage of the 70 degree weather this week by visiting Brainard Lake. It was was about a 4-5 mile hike/walk along the road. The road to Brainard Lake is closed during the winter, so it makes a perfect route for snow shoeing. A beautiful hike that can easily be extended by snowshoeing to Long Lake or Lake Isabella.
